Mosaics and Me...

I'm so happy today as I learned something new! Don't we all love to learn something new??? I know I do!

What did I learn today??? Well, thanks to my sweet friend Peggy @ QMM, I finally learned how to create a mosaic of my favorite photos!!! Peggy was kind enough to email me and give me step by step instructions on how to do it....Thank you Peggy!!! :)

I'm hooked on mosaics now so I think I'll change my blog name to Mosaics & Me, or how about Vintage Mosaics? ;) Just kidding.

The above photos are some I took of my Victorian Tea Party hosted by Kim @ The Victorian Parlor last year. It was SO much fun! If you'd like to read more about it, you can find it here.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. I'm slowly getting back to "pretty" again here (just like I promised), YAY!

Soon I'll be posting about our Valentine Fat Book Swap that I was a part of, hosted by Sarah at The Gypsy Mermaid. I don't want to spoil the surprise as they all went out in the mail yesterday but...here's a peek...

~ just don't tell Sarah that I showed you this!  ;)  ssshhhhh.....

Oh, and I MUST tell you about a couple of fabulous blogs that I'm hooked on too. I've just met Julia @ Vintage with Laces. Julia lives in Germany and I've really enjoyed chatting with her...she's a sweetheart! This is one of my favorite photos on her blog. I think this photo says a lot of her...

And another (now favorite of mine) blog is Lisa @ Tarnished and Tattered. Lisa lives in Texas but she once lived in Louisiana...I just KNEW I loved something about her besides her "vintage-ness". What is it about all of these Texas gals that I love so much?

Lisa is also having a give away...

But don't bother entering it as I AM GOING TO WIN!

;) Just kidding!

So if you haven't been to either of these two blogs, it's well worth your visit. If you have been, shame on you for not telling me about them sooner!   ;)

Have a wonderful Tuesday and I'll be back to chat with you all soon!

I don't know how to tell you this mon ami, but thanks to you I just went and visited Lisa and you know I can sometimes be a lucky, lucky girl. In fact, with what came in the mail this morning I would say I am more than lucky...I am blessed!
Debbie
P.S. When are you going to give your trashy techno-challenged friend the 411 on how to create a mosaic?

Lovely mosaic, Jodie! :) That tiered cake stand is just darling. I could just stare at it all day. I just found Julia, and oh, her blog is full of beauty. I'm off to see Lisa's because if you're recommending her blog, I know it's full of delicious things for me to see.
PS. I can't wait to see your book for the swap. And I'm bummed I missed out!! Next time. :)

I need to get back on track with my blogging and crafting too!
I actually read your Livewriter tutorial while you were crusin' and created one and did one post but now I can't log in but it is soooo much easier just like you said! Must figure out that password login!

I can't wait to see the fat books. They are gonna be fabulous! But you already know that since you are close enough to get your's first! Mosaics -- I need to learn that. I can do it on scrapblog and then copy it over. Just takes time and I don't always have time to play. I certainly don't ever plan my posts ahead of time. :) I've been visiting Lisa's blog for a while now -- she's in my sidebar. She is so creative! Just love all she does and that giveaway as your name all over it! I love your visits every day and thank you so much for all your wonderful birthday wishes. You're a doll! Blessings to you and yours, Tammy

Your mosaic is gorgeous! I haven't tried them yet but once I learn my camera a bit better I would like to try my hand at them. I am off to visit the blogs you mentioned!

Blessings,
