I'm already thinking (Full Steam) Ahead...

DSC_0051 (2)

What have you been doing on this first weekend of the new year? I've been snooping around some of my favorite blogs and I see that some lucky friends have spent the new year in the mountains, some in Las Vegas, and many at home with family. Wherever you spent your holiday weekend, I hope it was a delightful one to start your new year off right.

Just in case you are wondering what I did this weekend...I stayed in my jammies about 90% of the 4 day holiday weekend.

I watched Julie and Julia, Angels and Demons, and Knowing, which were all great movies by the way.

While watching them, I learned that I can multi-task as I was busy having a blast making these embellishments...

DSC_0065 (2)

and these...

DSC_0052 (2)

to make some Vintage Valentine Fabric Fat Book pages for a swap hosted by Sarah (Gypsy Mermaid).

Now you know that I can't show you a photo of the finished pages in fear of spoiling the surprise of the other participants...but being the sweetie I am, I can at lease give you a peek...

DSC_0071 (2)

And since I'm REALLY a sweetie...how about another one???

DSC_0068 (2)

They aren't due until the 20th but since I'm leaving on my cruise on the 9th through the 17th...it was crunch time for me!

*****

Oh my...I didn't mention where I was going...silly me! The Man and I are going to the Bahamas for 7 days of cruising, relaxing, and pampering ourselves. We have a balcony room so between the casino and the spa...that is where you'll find me...sipping on my Crown and diet Coke...enjoying the waves, the sunrises and most of all, the sunsets...on my balcony. One of the highlights of the trip is that we are going with two couples who are long time dear friends of ours and we are looking forward to having this experience together! No birthdays, no anniversaries...this is a "just because" trip. Our rooms are side by side all in a row and share one huge balcony...isn't that cool? A seven day party vacation with best friends...I am so looking forward to it.

However! I will miss our little 365 day party that we have going on over here on our blogs. I won't have my laptop nor my iPhone (since this IS a vacation after all)  so I'm going to ask you of ONE little favor to prevent me from going into detox on the ship...

Please don't have any fun without me.

I know that's greedy of me to ask that of you since I will be having SO much fun...but I...I just...I just really hate to be left out!   ;)

Thanks for not posting anything until after the 17th when I return...I just knew you loved me!!!!!

Just kidding (about the posting part...ya'll have fun!) but you better not have too much fun without me!!!!  ;)

ps...I'm still working on the watermark post before I leave. I'm trying to pack and write a post at the same time. This multi-tasking is hard...how do ya'll do it????  ;)

Hi Jodie,
I have spent the first weekend of the new year in my PJ's too! Funny thing though, I will probably still be in PJ's when you are, oh, I don't know, ON YOUR CRUISE....LUUUUCKY!! I'm sure you will be having a blast on the "just because" cruise with your friends, sipping your crown and diet cokes, sunning, spa-ing and relaxing. I am so happy for you to be able to do that. You will have such great memories with friends to remember for a very long time!! That's what life is all about.

So go have fun with your friends, see if we care...HA HA! I hope you don't have withdrawl from technology for that long:) Oh yeah, don't miss us too much, even though we'll be missing you!!!! Take great pictures, we'll want to see what you've been up to when you get back!

Hi Jodie....
I'm sooooooo excited for you & your hubby & friends, can you sneek me into one of your bags & put in a corner on the balcony like a plant...you can throw a blanket on top of me to hide me from the others. {I've actually thought this out, LOL!}
I pledge to have absolutely no fun while your away, well maybe just a little bit of fun, ok I'm still going to have fun, but I will miss your posts & can't wait for your return & all your amazing photos. Your pages look awesome & I so want to make those embellished bookmarks, they are lovely!!!
Have fun friend & enjoy all those stunning sunsets!

Now just what kind of mischief do you think we could get into without our intrepid leader? We'll just be running amuck until you return! Seriously, the best things in life are the "just because" moments. Go and have a wonderful time, bring back photos so I can get seasick looking at 'em. I'll do your one little favor if you'll do one in return for me...girl...walk on the wild side while at sea...have a real "Coke" with that Crown!

Have a cocktail and some time on a fun slot machine for me!

Sounds like fun, Jodie! Enjoy every sun-soaked second!

LOVE all the embellishments you've been working on! WOW! Lucky swap partners! Never done something like that--looks like a lot of work, but I'll bet it's a lot of fun! Love those fabric tags--it's all Valentinishly divine!

I can't watch a movie without doing something--usually knitting, so I don't have to think about it too much!

Hope you're still in your jammies relaxing--talk to you soon!

Jodie, I have spent the last week trying NOT to take down decorations but finally giving in:) My honey and I took a quick trip to the North Georgia Mountains and otherwise... non-eventful. How could you go on a cruise without all of us? It does sound like sooooo much fun with a shared balcony. Enjoy your trip and I can't wait to see pictures! Stay safe!

Man, you are killing me with your Valentine fabric book pages... Don't you have a job - haha?! Okay, so I spent the day today working on my fabric pages and I'm 80% finished. Weird coincidence...my colors appear to be the same as yours. I don't know how you just whip these pages out but your sneak peek looks gorgeous. I can't wait to see everyone's pages. Oh, and can you believe this is the first time MIss Gracie did not help! Maybe because it's winter and she is too cold. She did try to hop under the Ott light but it just isn't warm enough for her. So you are going to the Bahamas! That sounds just fabulous - you know you'll be missed in the blog world. I"m not going to give you a bad time about not bringing your iPhone with you because I hear international rates are really high! Have you downloaded any apps yet? Well, got to add a few more embellishments to my pages before bed... some of us are just not so quick!

Big hugs! I know you'll have a wonderful trip!

BTW, Kramer has mastered a little more French and wishes you a 'bonne voyage' on your trip!

It sounds like my kind of weekend, relaxing and not getting dressed! I spent some time getting the house in order after taking down the Christmas paraphernalia. Your cruise to the Bahamas sounds like lots of fun. I think the scenery there is some of the most beautiful in the world. Not that I've actually ever SEEN it in person. All that blue water thrills my soul though.

Your projects you've been working on here look loveleigh and so much fun to make. Someone will be very lucky indeed. Good luck with the packing and have a great day Jodie!

These pages are going to be to die for beautiful, I can tell already!

Well, If you have ever considered writing some script to automate those things that you are doing many times every day, then you have a great and easy way to automate the entir e process. It comes without saying that a few imacros and firefox add-ons will automate all actions related to a browser (Mozilla). If you wish to automate your system as such, then you will need some other script, easy commands can automate your system. Even a beginner can automate things using a simple software called as sikuli all you need to do is to inform Sikuli what to do by giving some screenshots and easy commands.
A GUI will be used with Sikuli. Sikuli is an open siurce scripting application that will use a combination of straightforward commands like click, type, wait and so on. There's no internal API support, it simply searches the screen for the image in the screenshot-which implies that you can use it for anything. There's literally no limit on how you utilize it to automate things.
This is too good to be true, however if you watch the subsequent video, you may come to know that this is often very easy. If you visit their home page, you get a lot of tutorials and support; it can be a cake walk even for beginners. You'll check the video as well as get the software at TechnoAges.com

4.) At the same time, do not become very greedy and play with only as many cards as you can play with. You need to watch and mark the winning numbers in each card and there is a time gap of only ten seconds between card draws. Hence, if you are unable to manage many cards, it is a waste. You have to complete winning combination and call 'bingo' before other players to claim your prize. free online bingo games Card selection for online bingo is on a random basis. Some game sites offer you three or four bingo cards while some offer many more bingo cards. Called numbers appear on the screen and normally at duration of ten seconds apart. You have to locate the numbers accurately within the allotted time and mark on your card before proceeding ahead. no deposit bingo online If you do not know anyone who uses the gaming sites or you want some additional reinforcement your first port of call should be an online bingo community. By reading reviews by other people who use the Bingo sites, you will be able to get a feel for the different sites that exist and make a more qualified decision about which one you would like to use. The knowledge concerning different sites and what other users consider important about them is an invaluable tool for the new online Bingo player. Whether it is for fun or for money, there needs to be an element of integrity within the site and a potential for the player to win the game. The knowledge of other users concerning specific sites will tell the new online Bingo player whether the site is for real or is just masquerading in order to harvest the players email addresses in order to bombard them with spam, or worse con them out of their hard earned cash. This can all be avoided with research and trying before you buy, as mentioned earlier the best places to scope out bingo sites is by using a review site or Bingo members forum.

Bingo is a beautiful game of luck, which involves patience, rapid coordination between hearing and searching out the numbers and lots of fun. As with all gambling bingo is totally addictive and you should be careful of its grip on you!
