I went to bed early on the last day of 2009 and woke to a new year and a new decade.  How fortunate am I...

I have a clean slate this year to make all things possible, starting today. What I choose to make of this year will be entirely up to me. Some things of course, will be out of my control but how I choose to handle what comes my way is again, entirely up to me.

I will set no goals today in fear of being a failure. However, I will dream and hope those dreams do come true.

I will not grade myself on any of my endeavors. As long as I have at least attempted something, I have succeeded.

I hope this year...2010...brings you much happiness and joy and I am looking forward to sharing the same with you~

Thank you for all of your comments on my last post.

I am working on a post to show you how to watermark your photos.

It is easy to do but sort of hard for me to explain without "showing" you so I am trying to do my best for you in words.

I hope to post it before I leave for my cruise on the 9th.

I've just really been enjoying my holidays!!!!   :)

I think of every day as a clean slate, for all that I want to do, and sometimes for what I need to do. I much prefer to spend my time enjoying the day rather than drudging through it. I am glad to hear that you have been enjoying your holiday and taking the time to spend it with dear ones and to do what your heart desires. I hope that you've found time in there to release some creative energy too. A cruise sounds divine! Friends of ours just got back from a 7-day cruise down the Nile. Now my husband thinks that is on our list of things to do (once the kids are older). Blessings to you and yours dear Jode for a most wonderful, happy, loving new year. Tammy

Happy new year Miss Jodie! Hey, don't rub it in about the valentine fat book just because you are ALMOST done!! :-) I've been working on mine today too... but I"m much more pokier - haha! I just keep moving pieces from here to there and back again until I can find the exact spot I want to place each one. Decisions, decisions! So spill on the cruise... where's the fun spot? Is this from being at the top of Santa's NICE list too - lol!=?! I"ll be thinking of you at the flea market tomorrow (especially as I spy our California prices!). Happy January!

Wonderful post, Jodie! Thanks so much for your kind visit--You're always so nice!

Love your goals--or lack of them! I didn't make any "resolutions" this year, either--for the same reasons...and I feel great about that!

I'm excited to see your post on watermarks--always wanted to learn how--thanks in advance! And the photography tips! Loved them! Used some of them this very day on our day trip out to Big Sur--took tons of photos--ALL looking through the view finder--haven't done that forever--and I really liked the results--thanks! Talk to you soon!
