It's Time for me to Beg Santa...

christmas angel in charming dress with hands clasped

Well friends, Christmas is ONE week away!!!

{think of it as 7 days or 168 hours away}

I need to make sure that Santa knows that I've been a good girl this year.

Therefore, I need to tend to some good deeds and get myself off of this computer for a few days.

I have presents to wrap, people to see and family to love. Ah...speaking of "love"... Hubby and I are celebrating our anniversary this weekend in the midst of Christmas parties and football games with friends.  {sigh of happiness}

But most of all, I need to take time out of my busy fun schedule and count all of my blessings. I am so fortunate. Not in a materialistic way but in a blessed way for we have our health, our home, our family, our friends and much love that blankets and comforts us.

And...I have you :)

I would have never left without wishing you a

VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

So I'm off to find Santa, stand in line, sit on his lap and make sure he received my letter.

I need to make sure he knows that I've been a good girl   ;)

I'll remind him that I'll have cookies and milk waiting for him when he comes to drop off my goodies.

{trust me, sometimes bribery does pay off!}

And I'll whisper in his ear one more time...

All I want for Christmas is a Saints Super Bowl Win ;)

Well, maybe a couple of other things too of course!

*****

Be safe, stay warm and be thankful~

{You are more than welcome to snatch these vintage photos if you have some begging still to do too!}

Jodie, you are so funny. I just absolutely adore you.
I hope you rest, and relax and just breathe deep and enjoy.
And have a wonderful Christmas. I don't think there will be much blogging done after this weekend - just too much to do!!! How very fun! I just love this time of year.
If I don't "talk" to you - Merry Christmas Dear Friend. I am so thankful I "met" you.
Hugs. Karen

I'd put in a good word for you, but I know I'm bad and would tell him to send you some glitter. That is the nice thing about being on the naughty list...you can just be evil. :) Merry Christmas and Happy Anniversary!!

I don't think begging is going to help you at all. And there's no room left on Santa's lap because I beat you to it!

Dear Jodie -- I wanted to drop back by again to say thanks so much for the kind and wonderful comment you left me before you took your little computer sabbatical. You are such a sweetie and I love visiting you every day. I see that Sarah made you a wonderful Saints wreath. How nice that ya'll were able to get together and exchange gifts. Handmade gifts and treasures from the heart are certainly the best gifts. Of course, true friendship is the best gift of all. Hope that you are enjoying your holiday time and have a wonderful Christmas. Blessings to you and yours :) Tammy
