Well, are you Impressed? Inspired? Did you make a note of any decorating ideas in particular??? Please tell me as you might have noticed something that I didn't notice!   ;)

This is not MY home silly...just in case you were wondering!

This wonderful home was open to the public for our small town's Christmas Open House. It was a delight to tour. The owners are amazing and did all of the decorating themselves! Every step took my breath away and I came home very inspired!!!

It's amazing where some doors will lead you. I hope the next door you visit will intrigue you just as much or maybe even more.

Feel free to click on Karen's link below and explore all the

Doors of Welcome...

Thank you for visiting!!!

:)

And thank you Karen for hosting such a fun tour!

OMG! How inspirational is that!! I would love to replicate the tall glasses that have beautiful marble stones inside, surrounding a votive candle. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing:D

Oh how funny, Linda chose the very element I was going to pick! Aside from the glass votive holders, I like the way the green ribbon is draped down the little Christmas tree. I tend to wrap my ribbon around the tree like a maypole! This has inspired me to try something different.

Oh Jodie! I'm so glad you posted that home! It was gorgeous! (but the deer in the bathroom would drive me crazy!) :) My gosh, they really do it up. The jewel tones and natural elements were beautiful. Love the three copper trees! SOme of her furniture is just to die for.
BOY! Absolutely stunning!
Thanks for sharing. Oh - btw - I sang your song to my guys and they started busting up!!
:) Back to Lillian before she drinks my glass . . .
HUGS!

Please tell me these folks are floral designers...no one should be that talented. Is it possible to run away with a house...cause I would if it asked me to!
I love that the front and back doors are identical...what an eye for details. You can bet I'm gonna steal the idea for the glass bricks...clever! Even the food looked good. One quick question...then I'll leave you alone. Did they use faux or real greenery on the doors? It's so lush.

Hi Jodie, you are such a cute host. Loved the tour. I don't remember where you live, but there are none of those houses around her. It looks like a southern vintage home. My mouth was droped the whole time. Thank you,

Merry Christmas Jodie, I won't see you again until after the hollidays. I'm sewing up a storm.

You comments always make me feel so good.

Hi Jodie!
Thanks for coming to checkout my blog! So exciting, a new friend and follower :)
I was just looking at some of your older posts and saw that you just lost your father. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my father 18 months ago to a 10 year battle with heart disease, that basically robbed my father of his mental and physical faculties. It is heart breaking to visit someone who no longer knows who you are. It profoundly affected my daughter, who chooses to remember her grandfather as the vivacious artistic man she knew and loved, not the one the disease changed him into.
I know this holiday will be hard for you and your family. I will be thinking of you and hope it will somehow be ok.

I am glad we met. I know we share more in common than we probably realize :)
Have a wonderful day!
XoXo,
Gail

It really left me speechless, that's why I had to come today to soak it all in again. lol I can't even begin to imagine how long that takes! I didn't get everything finish for the party, but have it done now and will share next week after my cookie swap party. Hoping Christmas will bring you some joy. Bigz hugz, Z
