Birthday MONTH: Day 15

Helllloooo? Anybody out there?

Hey...ummm

Hi Mommy's blog friends!

It's me Oreo! Remember me? I'm the Queen of the LeJeune house!

I bet you were expecting my Mommy today but she's at work with my Daddy and my Nanny Polli. And, I bet you're wondering what I'm doing on her computer. I just wanted to give you an idea of how much Mommy is enjoying her Birthday MONTH!

Now you know that dogs can't go out and buy presents and stuff, right? But I'm such a smart dog (that's what they tell me) so I came up with this great idea (in cahoots with my Nanny Polli).

Well, it might not sound so good at first but trust me, it all worked out for the best in the end...let me explain in short dog terms:

DSC_0196 (2)

  • Mommy cooked a delicious gumbo (& I'm talking lickety good)
  • Daddy fed me a LOT of it (even though he knew I'm only supposed to have a little bit) I love my Daddy {sigh}
  • That night I didn't feel so well and I threw up all over in the bed.

All I heard in addition to my turbulent stomach was the sound of the washing machine and Mommy's voice, saying something like "you fed her HOW much?" and oooh she was m-a-d!

  • Mommy and Daddy went to work the next morning all tired and sleepy.
  • Nanny Polli asked "What the heck happened last night?"
  • Mommy (madly) explained about my little accident and Daddy was mad because we only have ONE set of sheets.
  • Nanny Polli couldn't believe it either. She felt sorry for me and thought I should eat more gumbo.

My little plot is working...

  • A few days later, Mommy came home with a birthday bag from Nanny Polli and guess what's inside? A brand spankin' new pair of fancy sheets!

I couldn't have done it better myself. (licking paws)

Thanks Nanny Polli! I love you!!!

whew...that was a lot easier than this blogging stuff & picture taking. I watch Mommy all the time but I still can't get the hang of it like she does...I think she's the bestest in the world.

Next on my agenda: get Daddy to beg Mommy to cook some more gumbo. How can Daddy tell this cute little face "no"?

It's okay now, Mommy has two sets of sheets!!!!!

i don't know WHAT is cuter...your sweet little oreo...or her little narrative...

my least favorite sentence in the world is "mom, one of the cats puked on my bed ... again"...oh, yeah...we have a lot of that here...and there is no gumbo involved...

Hi Oreo, I'm so glad things turned out well, after your little bout with the "speecy-spicy" chow. Your Mom had to clean up a little mess, but wow, she got some pretty new sheets in the deal. So I was wondering, the next time your Dad feeds you something questionable, could you run on up here, I have this comforter, that needs replacing...

Sweet Oreo, you must blog more often! I think you have a true talent here! I think your Daddy messed up big time little Oreo, I don't blame Mommy for being irritated. But all is well that ends well thanks to Nanny Polli, YEAH Nanny!
