The Last of the Wishes...

This is my last post on my "Wish ya'll were here" series...the escapades of Sandy and I's fun week long vacation here in Cajun Country, Louisiana. As you will see, I hate to say good-bye...

Our little paper plate that we got from a sweet bartender on Bourbon street is now showing it's wear and tear after 6 days of traveling, laughing, learning, and sharing.

Even though some of you couldn't make it in person, y'all were still here...if only through my blog and in our thoughts!

I will be seeing most of you again in November... Hello Omaha! See ya at Silver Bella!!!!

Jodie I loved every minute of your travels and travails (lots of mileage and some new obsessions). I am sorry it is ending but...a buck a bag...WTF! I have never seen such a wonderful thing! I am sure you will find a use for all that imported ribbon, and now I have learned something new as well. I guess I should be feeling rich because I didn't get to go with you two but money's not everything. (Tell that to Thad and Receipts) Hee hee, can't wait til November, Hugs, Pam

Ok.....I didn't like hearing it was the last of your wishes in the beginning----because I am a strong believer in wishes......so it's alright if it is just the end of your recent adventures---because I wish for you many artful adventures. I love the velvet ribbon find the most!

This was such a fun series of posts! I feel like I got to enjoy all of the fun with you guys (although I would have preferred the crawfish in person-heehee:). The paper plate looks as if it has seen better days but I must say it was so funny seeing it pop into each photo:) Thanks for a fun week of posts (as always:)!

Blessings,

Kim

What a terrific bunch of photos and memories to share with us all. I especially love the old lantern and falling down barns in the previous post. I've always had a fascination for all things southern. If I could pick anywhere in the states to live the South would be it!

Thank you for checking in at Loveleigh Treasures and have a great evening!

Hi Jodie, I really did feel that I was there. Thanks to your great writing. Have I told you lately how much I love coming here to visit? You have such a great style of writing and I love your wit. Oh, by the way, about those bottles.
Hugs,
June

I wish you were still there so I could be too! Loved all the sightseeing, eating and drinking. Usually when I go on vacation I gain at least 5 lbs., but this time I didn't gain an ounce! There was crawfish at my local grocer Sunday, but it didn't look as fresh as this. MMMM, mudbugs...so much work for so little food, but oh so worth it.
