Starting a New Blog was a TOTAL SUCCESS!

Just hear me out please...I have SO MUCH to say here. And if you'd like, after you're done, feel free to actually click on the links and visit these wonderful bloggers who helped my "Starting a New Blog 101" a TOTAL SUCCESS!

Go mingle, they don't bite ;)

The blogs with the * are the ones that you helped encourage to create a new blog of their own since Tuesday! These girls have a brand new blog and they're just waiting for you to visit, fall in love with them as much as I did, and be a rock star groupie by following them ;)

Ready? Okay now...here goes. This is just a little something off the top of my head, but don't quote me on this okay? ;)

DSC_0003

ahem...

Once upon a Pink Moon, as I was Living Beautifully in A Charming Home in Mockingbird Hill Cottage out on Songbird Hill* on a Summer Sunday, I was looking out of My Faerie Window as I was sitting on the Kitchen Floor playing with my Draffin Bears. Yes girls, this is How I Spend My Days* at My Happy Place while the Kids are Napping ;)

The phone rang...it was Susie from Bienvenue who lives Over the Fence near Jane Jeffress Thomas, down the road from Sissie's Shabby Cottage and across the street from A Cottage Muse in that fancy subdivision they now call Country Blessings at Lakewood. She's a real Vintage Chic who's into Vintage Living and loves Tarnished & Tattered stuff so much that she wanted me to pick up The Gypsy Mermaid so we could all go meet Alison by the Bay and make jewelry inspired by Katsui and Lorie Lynn Designs

They say that Some Days are Diamonds and some days are Vintage with Laces...I think I'll just sit here with my Tiny Bear and live La Dolce Vita with Lili M, Carmelina and Suzie Button. You can Call Me Ganky or whatever, but life is A La Carte and I'm Laughing with Angels, enjoying all of the Desires of the Heart and My Heart's Ease. My Queen Mother MawMaw's motto was Hands to Work, Hearts to God and therefore I created a Scrapbook of Inspiration and Rose Vignettes for all to enjoy.

I also followed the Nature Trail along the way and  I learned how to turn Blooms into Heirlooms* and Appleseeds into My Delicious Autumn, which is totally Artelicious* by the way!  ;)

So I think I will listen to My thoughts, My Voice and join Belle Brocante for 52 fleas in search of Teacups and Mosaics. While Inside the Bubble, Chris in Oz has a case of the Robin's Egg Blues and I will help her while she's Gathering her Nest. From there, her Feathered Nest will be decorated by Red.Neck.Chic with duct tape none the less. You can call me The Paper Princess or The Glamour Girl Gone Goofy as I am totally cool with all of the Trash Talk. According to Lemon Drop Marie, Shell in Snohomish doesn't know what  Pierelantijntjes means in English...and neither do I but I love me some Ester from The Netherlands! :)

*****

So there you have it...all of my peeps in ONE short story :)

These are the women behind the blogs that left me sweet comments on my last post in hopes of  encouraging all of the new bloggers out there. Special thanks goes to Karen at My Desert Cottage for sending some of these special people my way and making me feel like a Rock Star. She's such a sweetie!

DSC_0012

Please continue the blog love and visit one another...especially the ones with the * as they are continuously checking their blog for new visitors and comments.

(you remember how you were when you first started, right?)

Alrighty then. It's late, I'm linked out and my heart is filled with lots of blog love. Thank you to all of my visitors and friends...but most of all...thank you for the inspiration you fill me with...daily!!!   :)

And for those of you who suggested that I should create a badge so that everyone could link to the last post, I appreciate it but  I'm just not that smart to even attempt it. Not even close  ;)

However, the tutorial post, along with other free great ideas is now listed on my side bar under "Tutorials 101" so have some fun checking them out too.

I'm going pack for Savannah, I'll post again before I leave...

Have a wonderful WONDERFUL weekend!!!

:)

~please, if I've linked you wrong above, let me know~

What a great funny introducing of new bloggers!
Unfortunately I can't find a word in english for my blogname, but I try to explain.
Frills means: Tierelantijntjes (in dutch) but I replaced the T into a P because they call my husband Jan Piere so Pierelantijnjtes instead of Tierelantijntjes.( Ahum, I think i'm gonna stop now.)
I'm going to visit the new bloggers soon.
Hugs Ester

Jodie, I love it! You're a genius! :) And thank you for all of your support and encouragement.
However, I blame you that I am now an addict. You must take the responsibility -- if I ever have to go into rehab, will you go with me?
Late at night, early in the morning, I have to (I just have to) look at someone's blog.
Yours is my favorite -- and always will be. You have a special place in my heart as you were the one who tapped me on the shoulder and said, "you can do it. I believe in you."
Oh, what a gift you are! And I'm so glad you share your gift of encouragement with all of us.

Love ya,
Sheri

Hi Jodie:
I'm just catching up on my blog reading today. The last week was filled with family and friends as we were hosts to all as my mum married a friend she's known for over 45 years! They're enjoying themselves in a beach cottage, families have boarded airplanes homeward bound, and Handsome and I are finally able to catch our breaths.

Wish I could have been here to play along and encourage some new bloggers, too! I'll be going to visit them and say hello. Thanks for being so encouraging to them. Blogland sure is a wonderful place!

xoxo
