Blind Date...

Have you ever had a blind date?

I haven't.

But I will shortly.

At almost 40 years old...I'm nervous like you wouldn't imagine!

Well, maybe this is not really a blind "date".

Let's call it a blind "swap" instead.

(that sounds even more weird, doesn't it?)

From the looks of it, we're going to Paris...

{sigh}

I hope she loves Paris as much as I do.

"She"?

Yes...that's right, "She".

I don't know who the special "She" is that will be receiving my heart, nor do I know any of the other 14 girls that will be receiving one of my Paris charms.

It's all a surprise!

Sarah put a charming twist on this heart swap as each of us who participated have NO idea who our partner is.

We filled out a simple questionnaire that described our likes and our dislikes and Sarah is playing match-up for us. Fun Fun!

So therefore...we all have a blind date partner!

Just knowing that I'm not the only one who doesn't know who my partner is is certainly a little more comforting  ;)

I hope I make a good first impression.

As you know, first impressions are most important!

I'll be sure to post again about my first blind "date" "swap"and let you know how much we enjoyed Paris once our hearts return ;)

Girl, as always you've done yourself proud! One lucky Paris lover so scored with you as their blind date! Everything is absolutely FabUlous! I can't wait to rip open my package when it arrives. Of course, we all know you will exhibit the utmost in restraint waiting for just the right moment to completley savor the gifts of your blind date. Geeze, that sounds so good when I write it, but I have to self control whatsoever.

Love ya!

Hey Jodie, my husband and I met on a blind date and the rest is history. The mystery of the swap equals fabulous fun! Tidbits & Tassels -- Terrific! Wine and Cheese -- Wonderful. Friendship and Creativity. Can't ask for more than that? I wish I could find time for a little of both right now. Work, school, daily household duties -- all a little overwhelming at the moment. I need more hours in the day! Hope you are having a great middle of the week. :) Tammy

How fun!! :)

Well, technically I guess I did have sort of a blind date, as when Jim and I were dating, he drove 600 miles from Toronto to Illinois, so we could meet in person. We had only previously chatted/emailed online and talked on the phone, but had never met in person. So, who knows what we could have been? I joke with him now that he could have been an insane mass murderer and me... well, I could have been insane - which is pretty much true to life ( just ask Jim )

LOL
