Have you ever had a blind date?
But I will shortly.
At almost 40 years old...I'm nervous like you wouldn't imagine!
Well, maybe this is not really a blind "date".
Let's call it a blind "swap" instead.
(that sounds even more weird, doesn't it?)
From the looks of it, we're going to Paris...
I hope she loves Paris as much as I do.
Yes...that's right, "She".
I don't know who the special "She" is that will be receiving my heart, nor do I know any of the other 14 girls that will be receiving one of my Paris charms.
It's all a surprise!
Sarah put a charming twist on this heart swap as each of us who participated have NO idea who our partner is.
We filled out a simple questionnaire that described our likes and our dislikes and Sarah is playing match-up for us. Fun Fun!
So therefore...we all have a blind
Just knowing that I'm not the only one who doesn't know who my partner is is certainly a little more comforting ;)
Bonjour Tag: covered in sewing pattern, embellished with a photo of Moulin Rouge and inked to age.
Paris charms: mini wooden ruler (cut into small pieces) stained and resin covered, embellished with Eiffel tower photos inked to age and adorned with glass and rhinestone beads.
Heart: vintage receipt printed on cotton, stamped with "Paris" stamps, embellished with paper flowers, rhinestones, glass leaves and beads, vintage lace, seam binding and tassels.
I hope I make a good first impression.
As you know, first impressions are most important!
I'll be sure to post again about my first blind
"date" "swap"and let you know how much we enjoyed Paris once our hearts return ;)
