My Kuwait Treasure...

Well, sort of...

My Kuwait Treasure that I'm referring to is not "in" the package that you see here below.

My Kuwait Treasure is MY FRIEND  who sent me these sweet gifts of thoughtfulness!

I am talking about none other than sweet

 Tammy of T's Daily Treasures.

She's an American, living in Kuwait with her husband and two wonderful sons, Zack and Yusef.

Through blogging, Tammy shares her "Daily Treasures" of life in Kuwait which include her creative (and giving) heart, her work, her friends, and her travels to surrounding areas on her side of the world.  (I love that!)

Living abroad does have it's perks, but during the summer months, Tammy and the boys fly "home" to America and spend time with family and friends.

Sadly, most of her family is up North and I'm here in the South so I can never get a "real" hug from her when she's in. (pout pout)

However, no matter where in the world she is, she NEVER fails to surprise me and let me know she's thinking of me. Whether it's sending me a little card or a handmade tag,  I always love hearing from her.

This package was no exception :)))

This is the cutest little passport purse I've seen yet!

(I wonder if she's hinting for me to visit her in Kuwait?) *wink

Tammy and I have been blogging together for a LONG time.

I guess you can call her my virtual pen pal :)

Even though she's so far away, she always puts a smile on my face and makes me feel like she's a neighbor living right around the corner.

This was written on her little card that was tucked into one of the pockets...

"You can add this smiling sweetie to your growing family."

DSC_0180 (2)

Isn't she a sweetie? (yes, both Tammy and the smiling baby!!!!)

I love baby photos! They make me smile!!!!

And if you look closely, she has a bracelet and a little ring on her middle finger...

Look at that chunkiness!

Yep, she'll fit into MY family just fine :)))

You would think that Tammy would be busy jet setting, sight seeing and enjoying her vacation but...

She sent me another wonderful handmade tag which will go up on my inspiration board with all of the rest :)))

AND can you believe she had the time to crochet a dish cloth for me too?

(& she made it in my favorite "non" color...I'm smiling!!!!)

Don't think she did it for me only. I've been around blog land lately and Tammy's crochet masterpieces have been popping up on the blogs of many of her friends.

DSC_0182 (2)

How does she do that?

How does she have the time to think of everyone else in the world?

There's only one answer that I can think of ...

Tammy is truly a Treasure!!!!!

(if I'm missing in action...me and my passport purse have flown to Kuwait!)

********

I have one more gift to open and it is from my sister Karen :)

I haven't opened it yet (duh!) but the weather is yucky because of the tropical storm/depression that has arrived here on the Gulf. Therefore, I don't want to open it if I cannot take photos :(

If I see a ray of sunshine, I'll share it with you tomorrow. If not, I'm wishing you all a wonderful weekend and I thank you for sharing all of these gifts with me.

You my friends, are my greatest gift of all!!!!!

:)

Dear Jodie, you are such a sweetie, and make even my simple gifts look fabulous. ;) So happy to be able to send a little something your way. So many others out there I would have liked to send something to but so little time. I should have been collecting snail mail addresses before I even left Kuwait. How amazing that you noticed so many details from your sweet smiling addition to the family. I just thought that baby was the most precious little thing. Have a beautiful day and a blesssed week dear friend! :) Tammy

Yet another lovely gift. You are so right Tammy is truly a 'treasure' I look forward to all her posts.
Can't wait to see the next package.
We have gloomy weather here in the UK due to the Jet Stream moving south apparently. Never mind its always sunny in blogland.
Keep sunny side up!

Oh, Sweet Jodie Girl...
How do I tell you this? OK, now I'm starting to get pissed off friend!!! LOL
What are you just the queen of gifts these days...I mean every day is a birthday for you. Every time the postman comes it Christmas. You must have to tip him regularly just for carrying this constant barrage of booty to your door.
Can you tell I'm just ridiculously jealous & covet all that you have!!! LOL

I guess I'm just going to have to be content with seeing the pictures of your fine booty for now & be happy for a friend who so many love & adore.
That's all fine, but I'm headed to the store for some from me to me love. :)
Big Smiles Friend,
Susie
