Sweets from Denmark...

Good Morning!!!!

My little friend, I hope you are wide awake this morning to get a load of these sweets that we are about to open.

DSC_0183 (2)

I'm warning you...this WILL make you jealous.

(i hope you will still love me after this post)

Now that I've awaken you and you've been fully warned...

LET'S DIG IN!!!!!  :))))

Awwww....

How did she know that I LOVE everything PARIS?

DSC_0185 (2)

(like who doesn't know that about me, right?)

And how did she know that I LOVE me some VELVET RIBBON?

DSC_0188 (2)

And know that I LOVE it A LOT???

DSC_0190 (2)

(what am i thinking...everybody knows that too!)

:)

Hey! Slow down...no peeking! We can't go too fast here...

We can't miss any of the DETAILS such as this awesome tag...I love the foreign script!

DSC_0186 (2)

Oh my gosh!

She spoiled me!!!!!

DSC_0191 (2)

But we aren't nearly finished yet...she sent so much more!

oh...you want to know WHO sent me this, right???

Shame on me for not telling you.

I have a terrible habit for keeping you in suspense!!!!  ;)

Like I said above, she's from Denmark . . . and  . . .     . . .

Awwwww......

lllllooookkkkk at this adorable little hand stamped pouch...

DSC_0189 (3)

I wonder what's inside!

OMG...look!

She altered this!

I think it was a vintage eye prescription tester lens!!!

I love it!!!!

DSC_0199 (2)

OH! And how did she know that I LOVE CABINET CARDS???

(she seems to know a lot about me...is she stalking me?)

;)

She sent me a new family member!!!!

Let's call her Aunt Skye...

(in Dutch, it means "shield" or "scholar")

Doesn't she look "scholarly" with her beautifully ruffled dress?

(If you like her, you can right click and add her to your cabinet card family too)

She would make great altered Halloween art ;)

DSC_0193 (2)

I'm going to introduce Aunt Skye to all of her relatives that Julia sent me a few weeks back!!!! She'll fit in perfectly ;)

I just love that foreign script again!!!

DSC_0194 (2)

I'll let you open this one...you seem to be getting a little antsy.

I know, it's past 8 am and I'm late for work but isn't this SO worth it?

;)

DSC_0195 (2)

YES! YES it is so worth it!!!!

She made me one of her famous tags!!!!!

DSC_0197 (2)

I love her style...she's amazing.

Look at the back of the tag...it's a flash card!!!!!! too cute!

DSC_0198 (2)

There's one thing left to unwrap...

What?

I haven't told you who my fabulous friend is?

Dang my ADD. I apologize.

You did know that I have ADD, right?

I can't seem to talk and unwrap at ... the ... same ...

I think I'm going to faint!

She sent me one of her famous collages too!!!!!

DSC_0201 (2)

no, no, no wait! don't leave me!!!!!

you HAVE to see the details on this beautiful piece...

DSC_0202 (2)

I can't believe she made this for ME!!! ...

DSC_0205 (2)

I love all the details, like this little bundle of Danish stamps...

DSC_0209 (2)

and look at the back of her collage...

She finished it beautifully.

Check out those boots!

But look at that little tiny bear...it reminds me of her.

DSC_0210 (2)

OUCH!

that hurt!

you didn't have to pop me on the side of my head like that...I told you that you'd be jealous!

What? oh.

My apologies again for not telling you WHO this fabulous friend of mine is.

;)

She's from Denmark (you already know that) and her name is...

TINA JENSEN

Tina is a fabulous artist and friend and if you are really really jealous of all what she sent me, you can find more of her "sweets" that are just as pretty in her shop below...

Handmade Shabby Chic and Vintage

And, if you or someone you know are teddy bear lovers...then you really have to click on the link below. She creates one of a kind heirloom teddy bears that are soooo cute!!!!!

Tiny Bear

I had to "steal" this photo from her blog to prove to you how adorable they are (just in case you didn't believe me)...

Hugglets2_2_1 (2)

Okay.

If I've made you jealous, I'm sorry.

I hope you still love me.

I'm late for work. Like REALLY REALLY late.

I hope The Man still loves me.

We still have more gifts to open so I'll be here the same time, same place tomorrow!!!!

(please come back if you still love me...or even if you don't!)

:)

DSC_0212 (2)

Thank you Tina,

I just love everything!

You are one lucky girl! Tina's package is fabulous! I love everything and if I wouldn't have a swap arranged with her for October, I would be really, really jealous. I'm sure aunt Skye will love her relatives even though she looks a bit skeptical. They might still have a barrier of language ;-).
Have fun playing with your new treasures, Jodie :-)!

Wow,
way to really make me jealous! I love those Nordic girls. It must be the sea air, it just does something, maybe the mist off the rocky shore casts magic on the artists! There has been a whole lotta gift giving going on with the name Jodie attached to it. But somehow, I've been left out of the loop. Yes, I sound like a jealous schoolgirl. LOL Tina rocks so hard. I can't even decide which goodie I love the most. They do have you pegged tho. Lisa Marie
