Welcome November!!!

It's a beautiful morning here at the LeJeune home. {sigh}

The morning sun is rising and it is peeking through every possible window, leaving the most gorgeous shadows on everything around me. I am surrounded by such beauty as I sit here and type this post. I have so much to be thankful for.

Speaking of beauty...

I love this portrayal. The shy little beauty with her precious little lamb. She's dressed so magnificently feminine with such grace and innocence. And him? He just adores her. I can see it in his eyes.

What do you think he's telling her?

DSC_0353 (2)

"Darling, I love you with all of my heart" or...

"Sweetheart, I would go to the ends of the earth for you" or...

"Whatever your heart desires, it is yours"...

{Yes, I'm a hopeless romantic, can't you tell?}

Speaking of thankfulness...

I am so thankful that I have friends. Friends who understand me, whether they are right next door or thousands of miles away.

Of those many boxes on the floor yesterday, 2 were  from Sandy, plus the envelope. And this is what was inside them.

She understands the loving and serious, yet fragile side of me and sent me this...

She understands the preservation and vintage side of me and sent me this...

Don't you just love how she repurposed a vintage sewing needle card?

DSC_0348 (4)

She understands the playful and fun side of me and sent me this...

I'll share my fortunes with you ;)

And she understands the artful and creative side of me and sent me this...

Isn't this the cutest button bracelet?

I love all of it on this beautiful morning...and I'm sure I'll love it forever!   ;)

Did you remember to change your clocks back one hour today?

Did you remember to change the flowers on the graves of loved ones as today is All Saints Day?

Welcome November and all it has to offer ;)

Oh Jodie, I wish I could have sent you a birthday gift.... it would have been fun just to see you open it, I can never find anyone that loves to get gifts, honestly. Do you know what I mean? Everyone thinks if you give a gift, then you must want something back.... I don't, I am a giver by heart!
Wait, it is your post birthday month isn't it?
Heck, send me your address!!!!
Hahaha.... I am serious!
You are so a hopeless romantic!
That's okay, I am too!!
Hugs,

Now that your most fab month is complete look for one more package winging your way. I thought a package in November would ease the let down of your birthday month's end. BTW I have my copy of Artful Blogging in my hands and I am so proud to know you. I hope you will still speak to us little people now that you are famous. That button bracelet is amazing. And those fortune cookies!!! Sandy is such a talented girl.

Hello Jody,

Wow! You really did it. You have posted everyday for the month of October. That's a lot of work. But then it's your birthday month and you are happy so it's all for the good :-)

Aside from being busy from the gifts, you were busy also from activities. This must be really tiring at the end and that chair is just as cozy to rest . . . or maybe we need a bed :-)

I enjoyed the parade. You really are one proud Auntie and you have all the reasons to be one too. She must be a one bright, charming young lady.

How funny was that "for sale" sign". SO did she received any call? LOL

Mizpah,
Li

(I hope and pray your Dad is recovering well Jodie)

Oh those fortune cookies are just a hoot. How creative. As always, I love, love, love visiting your blog.

You will be @ the hotel on Wednesday evening, right? We plan to arrive then unless we get distracted shopping along the way, but I think all 4 of us are going to be pretty focused. Can't wait to see you....

Hi Jodie! I've missed you, girl! I'm trying to get caught up on all your posts that I've missed.

Now, I'm a romantic at heart too...but my wicked sense of humor won out on what I think the man is saying to the woman. I think he leaned in close and whispered, "But lamb chops would be SO tasty, my love!"

I know....BOO, HISS! Sorry that I went there!
