Oh What a Ride!!!

Hey there! I'm back in Louisiana!!!

Sarah and I had such a fun trip. We had great weather, met some wonderful new friends & found some awesome goodies along the way!!! (It's amazing how much you can actually put in a Corvette!)

So while I am busy editing about 180 photos and writing drafts, here's a few snapshots of where my little black beauty took us in Texas...

Goodwill

~She can sniff out one of these stores a mile away~

Family Thrift Center

~Now why would you think that TWO people stopped me in the parking lot and asked me for a couple of dollars so they could buy themselves some lunch? hmpf! Do I look like a Dollar Tree?~

Comfort Suites

~A/C blowing ice chips, pizza delivery & no alarm clock ... totally livin' the good life!~

Gotta Scrap!

~"Going Out of Business" sale...now what's the chances of that?~

Chantal's LOVELY home

~Absolutely gorgeous home, beautiful studio, awesome hostess, and she has the most adorable Mom in the world~

I hope to post all of the FUN details soon. I'll have to split the weekend into about 4 (yes, four!) segments as there is NO way I can post all of it in one post!

Hint: Chantal's beautiful home and studio will have to be 2 separate posts alone! (You are going to either go blind with beauty or die with jealousy ;) Then I'll post about our creations, and then our weekend goody finds! How does that sound????

Please have patience with me as I am still catching up on clothes, lovin' my hubby for letting me go, catching up on a mound of mail at work, catching up with Dad, and I haven't forgotten that my dearest college son is still starving and waiting for me to make my run to Sam's to stock his apartment!

I hope you are all having a wonderful week and getting ready for some Labor Day Weekend FUN!!!

Man, I hope I get through pics of Silver Bella better then my pangs of jealousy here----I don't have any pictures of Tim and me-----cause Zandra didn't think of it and she was a little distracted----happened again with Heidi---luckily she was focused enough to get a picture of me with Jennie Bowlin---good thing.....but now I don't even rate enough to get a note from Tim----are you there????? Oh I am sorry you are still on the floor......no you are checking your mailbox AGAIN!!!!! Jodie u r 2 funny!!!!!! :) :)

Welcome home sweet Jodie.
You are so funny and loved all your photos.
Especially your swanky car, no wonder you had people begging for money, they probably thought there was a Movie star, getting out of the car.
Your friends house is fabulous and I look forward to seeing more of your trip.
Go and look after your family, unpack as it is always a big job coming home.

Hugs
Carolyn

So funny...a black 'vette in each photo, kinda reminded me of "Knight Rider"! Was it crammed to the ceiling by the time you got home? Sounds like you had a wonderful time and relaxed a bunch. Glad your back, missed ya.

I have been impatiently waiting for your return. I knew you would have lots to show and tell. I am soooo happy for you about Tim now "knowing" who you are. That alone is awesome.
Can't wait for all the details about the trip.

Wow mom, i'm suprised the vette made it that far. Did it even start when you got in it?

Understand people...she NEVER drives it. Like...never ever.

I still think she should let me have it. Ya know...break it in while in college. That sounds like the right thing to do right?
