She Loves Me...& Misses Me too!

Okay, I'm sure you've heard me brag about my big sister from Texas right? Well dog gone it...she did it again...she spoils the heck out of me! And what do I do to deserve this L-O-V-E ???

She sent me this cute little decorated bag full of surprises!!! Don't you see where I get my creativity from??? ;)

Anyway, if you don't want to be jealous, just stop here. But if you are nosey and want to see what's inside...enjoy the pictures and share in my excitement as we open the bag together!!!! ;)

Lots of little things wrapped and bagged...

Little notes here and there...

Scream? Isn't this enough temptation for you to open the bag and see what's inside??? Give it to Rose if I don't want it???

Okay, I can't wait either...let's see what her favorite of all is...

A vintage wooden Boye Brand sewing machine needle case! My heart skipped a beat as I now have 3 of these! (And I AM keeping it, sorry Rose!) My first two came from my sister in law when she bought this lucky find at a flea market...

and everything was included in it!!!

We had fun digging through the vintage sewing items...some she kept and some she shared with me. She's such a sweet sis in law!

Okay, I'm off track...back to my sis's surprise. What's wrong with me? I think I have A.D.D.~where was I?

Ahhh yes, unwrapping the goodies...

Well, this was a very SWEET gesture from sis...a $50.00 check to help Little Bella! I matched it and sent it in to help with her medical expenses...sha little Bella, Debbie's 'lil trashette.

And one by one, let's open each gift...

Whew! I don't know what I'd do if you weren't here helping me...hubby would fire me for being later than I already am!

Sis knows I'm addicted to cabinet cards and old photos...

DSC_0082 (2)

Actually...I'm addicted to everything vintage!

I've got to get to work. No chance on hubby firing me (I've already tried that). Thank you for helping me unwrap all of my goodies and thank you for keeping me on track. Sometimes I get out of hand and post a million pictures and tell long stories. Well, I know...I did that again today huh? Well, thanks anyway, you're the best blog buddy for understanding my crazy ways!

My big sister spoils me to death...can't you tell???

Thanks Karen...I love it all!   :)

Is there anything better than a loving sister? I think not. I have three and adore each of them and I'm the big sister, though I have a ways of spoiling to go, from what I can see here. :-) Wow! What a wonderful package of surprises.

What a sweet sister! I recently got a gift and posted about it today! Your sister sure packed in a bunch of little treasures didn't she! What fun bliss it must have been to open.

Thanks for your wonderful email. I hope you can attend the party, but understand if you're too busy, sometimes life gets in the way of our blogging fun, LOL! Have a loveleigh day Jodie!

What a great package of surprises (I am currently wiping the drool off of my computer screen:)! You have a wonderful sister and apparently sis-in-law too:). Wow, all that great stuff and then a check for Bella-sounds like your sister's heart is as big as yours:)

It's funny, I have been late to work more often since I started blogging-I just say to myself 'step away from the computer' and then I think 'oh, just one more minute'-lol!

Blessings,

Kim

OK Jodie, it's official...I'm gonna adopt you AND Karen. What a sweet girl!!!
Sisters are the best and you are both lucky to have each other.
When and if we get to meet, be sure and wear your "new" Evening In Paris eau de cologne!
Here's a long distance hug from me to y'all and I'm throwing in a kiss for good measure!
XOXO

Hi Jodie,

I love all your Tuesday treasures from your Sister.
What a lot of lovely things.

I love vintage sewing supplies.
Why do they not have cotton thread on wooden spools?

Have a great day
