Welcome Spring with a 7-mile garage sale...

           spring (2)

Thought this was pretty to share with you, so I scanned it from my 2009 Day Book that I bought from here.

Bet you are wondering about the title above? Yep, you read it right...I will be welcoming Spring my style early Saturday morning when I hit the highway of the 7-mile garage sale!! It starts in the small town of Grand Coteau and runs to the nearby town of Arnaudville (or vice versa). From 7a-4p I will be digging through vendor's goodies on the side of LA Highway 93 for miles and miles! I can hardly wait!

I will have my camera around my neck and I will certainly take ya'll along for ride!!! Be prepared for lots of pictures when I return, I hope you don't mind!

If anyone is looking for something in particular, please let me know as I will make a list of "must haves" before I leave. I'll be glad to ship them out to you where ever you are...

On the  "must have" list for my BBFs (best blog friends) {near & far} is:

  • Metal jacks (game pieces)
  • Red plaid metal lunch box
  • Vintage material (apron quality)

{I wouldn't dare post my "must have" list here on my blog for my boys to read. The hubby would faint (like, thump) and the little one at college would be the first one to call me on my cell Saturday morning and make me feel guilty because he's "starving" and I'm buying junk!}   ;)

If you don't hear from me again until after Saturday, know that I'll be emptying all of my piggy banks around the house, going to the bank and exchanging my "mad money" & large bills for dollar bills, tanking up the car, locating my sunscreen from last year, cleaning out my trunk, charging my camera batteries, packing my ice chest, getting together my sunglasses, tote bags, and crocs, and the list goes on...
