But isn't this the cutest little owl? It's a stamp! I need to get my hands on one like that! It's adorable! Okay, back to my birthday...
Over the weekend, I received a late birthday present. Who cares if it's 6 months late?? I'd celebrate my birthday everyday if I could! After all, the month of October is in fact My Birthday Month!

One of my sweet friends {Donna} called and asked if she could stop by. I said sure...as long as she didn't mind me still being in my pajamas enjoying the rainy weather. Little did I know she'd be walking in bearing gifts...2 beautiful boxes just for me!

Inside the beautifully botanical round papered box was a gorgeous beaded ribbon tassel in my favorite earth tone colors. A pack of liquid embossing which I can't wait to use and a precious rubber stamp! I love this stamp with the typewriter print background!

Oh and this box! I recognized the Anna Griffin print and I was tickled because I have keeping my eye on this set...

I love Anna Griffin and this is the most vintage inspired set that I have been longing for and now it's mine!!! For Real!!!
So here is my late birthday loot! I couldn't have received it at a better time, on such a relaxing weekend that I was able to play. with no commitments and no plans. just play in my play room. all weekend. in the rain. play. dream. create. play. play. play.

Happy Birthday Jodie---oh I was like I didn't know--but it is not until October......my birthday is in October too. We should do a birthday swap or something--I mean sumtin sumthin......Donna has nice taste in friends and gifts....loved your nature post this weekend, too. Love the husband thought it would be a good post, too. I am off to play, too----and off the computer.
Lucky lucky! I was already to run out and find a card til I saw I have until October. I can't wait to see how you use all these scrumptious goodies. Back to painting wood work in my art room. I AM trying to get finished, Pam

Happy unbirthday to you! My b-day is Oct. 1 also! I feel the same way you do. I could celebrate all month long and March is just fine too. I started reading your blog back when you did the Easter egg tutorial. I enjoy reading it and check back daily! Oh, I wish I had Donna for a friend... cute stuff!
