My Ticket to Portrait Rustique

Hey! It's THE one and only Kim Kwan teaching so let's break out with the chicken wire, hammers and staple guns and let the FUN begin! This teacher is a hoot! This gal is so talented, so LOUD, and a very beautiful professional photographer among other talents I'm sure. I was so humbled to take her class and just be in her presence. I couldn't even think straight. Not to mention it took me over 30 minutes to pick up my pre-ordered sandwich so I didn't get to eat 'cause I was already late for class. I was famished to say the least. But here is my project, so for me being so pathetic and hungry, I don't think it turned out so bad...

Anyway, I burst into class and Pam from Frippery had an empty seat by her and I grabbed it! I'm sure she thought...not this chick again! But I (her project child) was back! And again she used that darn yellowy goldish tube of paint on her frame and made the prettiest Little Red Riding Hood collage I'd ever seen! She's good!

Oh I must mention this to you all again, the cutest little CDV card was included in our packet. Here I go calling myself bad names but this cabinet card whore put it gently in my tote to take home to it's new extended cabinet card family...safe and sound and not to be mixed media-ed...at least not in my lifetime!!!

And here is a picture of me and wild and crazy Kim Kwan...she's so awesome.  **I have to add her to my "mentor list"**

Two down...3 to go. Stay tuned.

ps...I am leaving for New Orleans for the weekend so I won't post again until next week. That is, if I can shake this horrible cold and actually leave. Damn I feel like #@*%.
