Christmas Chaos...

DSC_0099 (2)

I survived!!!! :)

If I could tell you how much FUN and REWARDING the Christmas Tour of our Home was on Sunday...you just wouldn't believe me!!! There were between 150-200 people that strolled through the house in 3 hours, oooohing and aaaaahing about the smallest little details that I didn't think anyone would notice.

My heart was SO happy!!!

I promised to show you photos and I will soon. For the past 48 hours, I've caught up on my sleep (I think), The Man made me go into work full-time again (he said the "party" is OVER! hahaha!) and when I tried to download almost 300 photos, my computer started acting funny yesterday (I'm crossing my fingers that a "new" computer will not HAVE to be on my Christmas list).

I plan to play with the post again this evening when I return from work and I hope to start walking you through the tour soon too!

I have over 100 emails to answer, birthday presents that are still waiting for me to open, and I haven't even sent out my "thank you" cards nor my Christmas cards yet...I'm just terrible! Have I told you (my loyal visitors and friends) that I THANK YOU for the sweetest comments you've been leaving here? Even though I haven't returned them, you have NO idea how they make my day!!!! You sure know how to make me smile!!!! :))))

Can we PLEASE postpone Christmas at least 15 more days??? Am I the only person in the world running late?

(just kidding...there's NO postponing sweet Jesus' birthday!!!!)

Oh...and did I mention that I'm hosting two parties this weekend in my home? One Friday night and one Saturday night?

Is there a discount when you buy Calgon by the case???

;)

Jodie,

If anyone deserves a Calgon moment it is you! I have been eagerly stalking, er waiting, for your magnificent post to appear so I can be inspired to start decorating. You see the pumpkins here at the Quill have not quite jumped ship and given over to Christmas decor, they are perched on the edge of the table, ready to take the leap, but I think they need a push. I hope your parties a huge success and that you get some much needed rest!

Hey Sweetie...I've been waiting and I'll continue to wait :) this ranks right up there with the Christmas Tree Lighting @ Rockefeller Center!!! and I won't be flabbergasted if you show pictures of Josh Groban strolling thru the house singing :) if he could be at the tree lighting he surely could be @ your open house!!

Get some rest...HUGS xxxx

OK Get some napping in because I am on pins and needles waiting for the photos girl. I have been having photo loading issues on my Mac too. Phooey. How can we share when we can't load? I even took a few at the Saint's game just for you. I started dumping all of mine to shutterfly and backing up with disks but that takes soooo long! Ready to make an appointment at the Genius bar and let them figure it out. I think I need to wipe it out and start over. At least your house is all clean for the Partay's! Miss you, Pam

I don't know about Calgon, but I hear they sell wine by the box and Crown by the gallon jug.
I know it was all just beauitful and I'm so proud for you that the visitors "got" you!

Oh, Jodie! You're just a crazy woman! Two parties this weekend after the open house??? You're a better girl than me! But, I guess since it's already all gussied-up, why not, right?!

I'm definitely running behind this year--got SO much to do! It will all turn out just fine though...it always does, doesn't it?!

Wishing you a lot of joy, some sleep, and no stress, my friend!

Personally I do not have time for Calgon to take me away. That is why my honey buys champagne by the case for me!!

Got my ticket and am awaitin' the tour!

I think maybe you do need Calgon to take you away! You are a brave soul to open your house to a tour -- but judging by your photos you did a real good thing for those who got to see the big and little details. You are one amazing lady. Enjoy the accolades!
