Birthday MONTH: Day 9 & 10

How many of you noticed that I didn't post yesterday? hmmm, I'm takin' names...

~ my phone sure wasn't ringing to see if I was okay (pout pout) ~

Seriously, just kidding. I was out having fun. I started my morning early with 4 local garage sales and came home with things like this...

I took the frames apart, cleaned them and now I'll be on the lookout for the perfect vintage Santa images to print and put in them.

Please don't hate me, but I found this really sweet vintage hat box for 10 cents...

I unloaded all of my new Christmas picks that I bought last week and filled up the box. I'll use the box in my Christmas decorating too. The black and cream colors will go perfect in my decor!

After cleaning all of my new goodies, I went to a party!

No, it wasn't a birthday party for me (tee hee)...

It was a Stampin' Up! party at Miss Pam's beautiful studio.

Sarah came along with me and we met other local friends there and we really had a great time. Pam is such a gracious hostess and we were all honored to have Lori Hernandez as our Stampin' Up demonstrator for the day. She taught us some REALLY cool techniques that I can't wait to try :)))

I used to be an avid scrapper but my tastes turned into altered and fabric art and collage. Scrapping was a good foundation for my learning, gathering techniques and gathering LOTS of supplies too! I'm sure you all know how that is, right?

Stamping was one of my favorite hobbies and I've accumulated many MANY stamps throughout the years...and I've never stopped since. Just because I really don't "scrap" anymore, I still use my stamps for altered and fabric art and much more.

The 2010-2011 Stampin' Up catalog is awesome this year (as it is every year). It's jammed packed with beautiful new stamps and so many cool ideas!! I even have back issues of the catalog...it's such an inspiration to flip through.

While we were playing at Miss Pam's, she served us some crackers and cream cheese topped with pepper jelly. I love me some pepper jelly and I love this time of year as I usually buy it from the local church ladies at the local fall festivals so that I have plenty to entertain with throughout the upcoming holidays.

Well, luckily...Miss Pam and I have a mutual friend, Miss Mona who now makes and sells her own pepper jelly and we LOVE it!

Lucky me, she gifted me with a jar for my birthday!!!!

I'll be honest. I'm so happy Miss Pam shared her pepper jelly with us as I didn't want to open mine.

I was hoarding it for a special occasion ;)

But...I will hoard no more! I placed an order with Miss Mona last night and I have some coming to me!

Being the sa-weet birthday girl that I am...I'd like to share some of Miss Mona's awesome pepper jelly with you!

All you have to do is just leave me a comment on THIS post letting me know how much you love yourself some pepper jelly :))

I'm going to pick 5 lucky winners and send a jar out to each winner ~ No matter where you live!!!!

Yes. I love you THAT much to share 5 jars of my favorite pepper jelly with 5 of my lucky readers :)

As an added bonus, I'm even going to throw in the comments from FACEBOOK too so don't be shy and leave a comment here or there.

You have until Tuesday evening, October 12th (before I fall asleep) to enter.

That's about 48 hours to get your name on here so get to typing, then go to the store and get you some cream cheese and be waiting for me to pick your name!  ;)

Ok...does never having Pepper Jelly count as desperation???? If it involves cream cheese, it has to be good!!

I live too deep in the piney woods of NW Louisiana to go out seeking any cream cheese tonight, but you can bet your sweet :-0 uh, rear end, if I win, I will have some waiting along with me some crackers before that jelly arrives in my mailbox. I do love pepper jelly on top of cream cheese spread on top of crackers. You are being so nice sharing your birthday with some five lucky peeps! :-)
