Well Baby, it's past my bedtime...

so let's DO IT!

Let's pick the FIVE winners of Miss Mona's delicious homemade pepper jelly ~ fresh from her Cajun Kitchen.

There was no method to my madness in picking the winners as I appreciate each comment so very much!

Since it's my Birthday MONTH...

October is the 10th month...

# 10 is Ceekay of Thinkin' of Home

"Ok...does never having Pepper Jelly count as desperation???? If it involves cream cheese, it has to be good!!"

Since my Birth DAY is the 1st...

#1 is Leanne of Provoking Beauty

~ California ~

"oh lookie, I'm first. I am not fond of pepper jelly, but my hubby loves it. Mind its not too long until our church fair...."

I am the big 4-0...

There wasn't 40 comments so let's just add 4+0=4

"Oh, my gosh! I missed wishing you a Happy Birthday. It is never too late, so I am gonna belt it out now! Here I go...loud and proud! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR SWEET JODIE...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! I had so much fun with you at Zapp! You need to go to my blog today! You might see some folks you recognize!
Girl, I love me some pepper jelly! You know why? Because I am a HOT MAMA...that's why!"

Sometimes wishing that I was 21 again...

#21 is Vicki of Rusty Rooster Vintage

"Ooh...I love me some pepper jelly but Lisa just reminded me of Pickapeppa sauce! It is like a love triangle with those two and cream cheese. You just can't pick! lol I love the frames you found. Next time we don't hear from you...I'm calling 911. Kids don't try this at home. Have a great Monday!"

I'll just tell everyone that I'm 29 and holding!

#29 is Theresa of Time Worn Interiors

~ Kentucky ~

"I wish someone in my neck of the woods would have one of the Stampin Up parties! I would love to go to one!
Great finds!"

Thank you ALL for playing along and of course for always stopping by to see what's happening in my little world.

I wish I could have sent each one of you a jar but...

I'm saving the rest for ME! ;)))

{just kidding...}

I can't believe some of you have no clue what pepper jelly is and have never tasted it. It's really delicious! If you want to try it, you can always call or email Miss Mona for a price and a shipping quote. I bet she can fit quite a few jars in a Priority Flat Rate box and get them to you just in time for the holidays!!!

Congratulations girls...thank you and enjoy!!!!

Congratulations to the lucky winners! I think I will have to investigate this further and try and find a recipe, if so many people are so enthusiastic about the stuff, I need to give it a try, lol.

I am so excited to be a winner! Whoo Hoo! Why don't I just have you all over and we can share? I've got cream cheese and extra beds. Let's go! I can't wait to try these and to visit the winners blogs. So good to meet new friends. Thanks, Jodi, for your giveaway and your awesome blog.

Oh I love pepper jelly. Way back a million years ago when I was in cosmetology school, a fellow classmate, Patty Robicheaux from New Orleans, brought some to a party and I have been hooked ever since! Somehow I missed the post! Oh well I think I will head out for some pepper jelly and Fritos to serve at my Bunco night tonight. (That's how Patty served it although I have had it on cream cheese and crackers too. Yummy.)Now I'm hungry. Hugs, Pam BTW My emails are bouncing as spam again and I can't find your address again and need it desperately. You will be getting a text message later if I don't hear from you!

I love cream cheese and pepper jelly. I could eat the whole thing all by myself! Can't stop myself. I made a really good pepper jelly once with pomegranite added. Probably not the real Southern recipe!

Jodie, thank you for the lovely note on my blog. I am telling you, I have been a little down in the dumps since coming home from Mayo. I have a hard time letting go of the sadness, even though Iver is squeezing life out of every minute. Your post on my blog lifted my spirits so much. I wasn't feeling like I had a heart of god. I was sad and downright crabby. Huge thanks. It meant so much!!!

Huge hugs,

Oh my....I plum forgot to wish you a happy birthday! Must have been cause I was so caught up in my "art" weeks and not visiting the blog rolls I subscribe to. Bad Rochelle!
I hope you had a wonderful day! And, I definitely know the amazing taste of pepper jelly. My mom and my sister and I put up some jars in September. So great with cream cheese (although was isn't great with a little cream cheese!).
Did you see the "peek" into art camp weekend?? Go see.... :)
