Thanks for the WBC II visit :)

Hi all!

I'm just popping in to thank everyone for coming to visit Miss Sophie and I's studio over the past weekend!!!

(studio update:  her and I are making amends) tee hee!

The Where Blogger's Create II Party hosted by Miss Karen Valentine was a success and so much fun, don't you think so too?

I've been having a blast reading all of your sweet and funny comments, they totally make me smile :)

Oh, and the PAR-TAY hopping? Well! That's just totally up my alley too as you know me, I love to be nosey and see what's happening in your creative world :)

swap3

I'll be honest here, out of over 450 studios to visit online, I have only visited and left comments on 83 so far and in no particular order. Over the next few weeks, I hope to visit everyone else & maybe finish before WBC III starts next year (haha).

All of the creative spaces I've had the privilege of visiting are so inspiring and beautiful, everyone should belong in a magazine I tell ya! No doubt about that!!!! :)

For those of you who participated, I'm so proud of you. Sometimes showing a comfort zone or a creative outlet of your life can be difficult, especially in this big huge blog world where it's easy to be intimidated and self~doubting of what you have or what you may not have compared to others.

I know this because I've felt this over and over again, many times before and it's not just about my creative space, it's about everything that I do.

I'm always thinking "Is IT worth putting it out there online for everyone to see?"

I'm a very private and shy person (really) and only over the past year or so have I conquered that paragraph above and accepted who I am in this big huge blog world...thanks to the help of encouraging friends and family like you. Through your emails and comments, you have given me the confidence and inspiration I need to continually share my creative life with you and hopefully inspire others to do the same :)

I've really enjoyed seeing the diversity of all the creative and crafty women (& men) out there.

Whether it's sewing, cooking, stained glass, landscaping, paper art, cake decorating, mixed media, home interior, jewelry, woodworking, etc., I LOVE seeing everyone's INDIVIDUALITY and PERSONALITY in their own space and in their own works of art.

That's what makes each of us UNIQUE.

I could go on and on, but I really wrote this post to THANK YOU for coming to visit Miss Sophie and me. Most of all, leaving me with even more inspiration and confidence to post again :)

In the words of Tristan Robin Blakeman...

"Go make something beautiful!"

...then come back and share it with me!  :)

I had a family wedding/reunion this weekend so I am late to the party and just starting here. Miss Sophie answered my help-wanted ad but when she saw the state of my room she decided she has a good thing going on with you! LOL. It's a wonderful space and you should be proud.

wow! 450?! I missed it, but it sounds like it was wonderful. I wonder, is there a list that can be visited, just for fun? You're doing great if you've already been to 83! Awesome!

What a sweet and thoughtful post today. I am trying to visit everyone too. I am just amazed at all the beauty that is here in blogland. It's just so fun taking a peek inside everyones private spaces.

I really enjoyed seeing yours and with all that inspiration I'd say you will not have any trouble making something beautiful.

Jodie, your the bomb! It just amazes me that 450 folks are involved in this. I've already been completely amazed at the creative spaces I have seen. Some of them are not studios, they are like actual stores or showrooms. Amazing! And here I am making a mess at my dining table and not having a place to store a thing. Thank God for hobbies and crafting or I don't know what I would do with myself. And thank God for blogging, for inspiration and for wonderful people like you. Blessings, Tammy

Hey girl!
Don't feel bad, I'm just now getting around to returning comments and checking out spaces, too. We're only human! :-)

Your space looked FANTABULOUS, but I would expect nothing less.

See ya in a couple of days!
