Right about now, I'm sure you're thinking...

"Good God Girl...when are you going to finish posting about your Savannah weekend?!"

Well, I told you that I could write a book about my wonderful adventure so I don't feel guilty in the least as I warned you ahead of time! ;)

Jenn held Vendor Night at a quaint little bakery deep in the heart of Savannah.

This was THE night for all of us girls to dress in our Southern Best. I didn't dress up, but if you'd like to see some of the Southern Belles who did dress up, you can click on this link here or here.

I don't have many photos of Vendor Night as I was too busy stuffing my face with cupcakes!

So lucky you...this post will be short!

Just sit back and enjoy the sweet life...

and all of the sweet little details! :)

Of the few photographs that I did take, I don't remember which goodies belonged to who, so therefore I won't even attempt throwing names out there.

All I do know is, ALL of the vendors there had beautiful things to share with us.

Gorgeous handmade jewelry of all sorts.

These women were amazingly talented beyond belief...such an inspiration!

DSC_0271

I think I spent a month's salary on hand dyed ribbon and velvet...my favorite!  :)

Lots and lots of pretty embellishments to leave as is or to add to future projects.

And of course, last but not least...our Guest Speaker, Jo Packham was present to sign copies of her books and magazines.

Soaking in Jo's words of wisdom was sweet Rachel, one of the many friends that I was thankful to spend some quality time with.

See?

I told you that this wouldn't be a long post.

It's all because of this little sweet thing below...

So blame IT!

or

Thank IT!

Up next...Chapter 5...The Big Day!

And for the third time...don't forget about my "End of Savannah" giveaway I'll be having at the end of this "book" I'm writing about my wonderful weekend!!!

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend too!!!!

Well, Jodie, my little cajun neighbor--looks like you did have a wonderful time.
What beautiful photos of inspiration!
I love sepia and whites, but when i see all those sherbert colors, like the spools of silk ribbon, my heart goes all aflutter.
And, those cupcakes make me want to head for the mixing bowl, and my pastry kit.
Keep your chapters coming.
love, marilyn

Hi Jodie:
I'm loving reading about your Savannah adventures. Wish I could have been there, too! I would have been buying up silk ribbon, too!

Savannah is one of the areas that Handsome and I would love to explore further. It's nice to have options if we ever decide to move out of FL.

Thanks for visiting Brynwood and leaving such a lovely comment. I have a post going up at midnight with the projects I finished today...using more of that fabric. You're not the only one who's asked about it. It's home dec fabric that I bought years ago from Joann's.

I'm thinking about making more of my Saturday creations for my Boutique. Let me know what you think. You're so creative, and I value your input! ;-)

Hugs from FL.
Donna

I'm just laughing. You were busy taking beautiful photographs and I was pushing and shoving my way to get somewhat close to the ribbon gal so I could BUY IT ALL! Hell - ribbon does weigh much, right? SHHESH! By the time I left her and got to Cassandra's - her table was EMPTY! I knew I'd miss it all . . . I almost missed the cupcakes! Too much good stuff! I LOVE LOVE, LOVE vendor night!
SIgh. Seems like we just there. I mean a week ago tonight we were out by the river, and drinking those yummy things Tiffany made us drink...AMARETTO SOURS! Oh yum. Can you imagine how much fun we are going to have with her in Oregon? You did ask Thad didn't you? And he said OK, right? Right? And HEY! What did he think of my Saints banner?
Love it all. Love you more! Karen

Oh Jodie, The things to eat and the things to buy - everything looks very yummy. The silk ribbons, wow, I'm not only in love with them but also with that gorgeous rack they are on. The embellishments in the picture below are very pretty as well.
The girls look just awesome all dressed up. One thing I know for sure now. I couldn't have participated in that event because I don't have a single dress in my closet. Reading your "book" and looking at all your great pictures make me feel like I was there though :-).
Have a wonderful Sunday and get some rest, girl!
Big hugs,
Julia

It is such a gloomy, dreary day here. I decided to take a little "vacation" and search the web. Your wonderful blog helped chase away the blahs.
