Just to let know, (and maybe make you a little jealous at the same time), I'll be VERY busy Saturday...
But you don't have to be jealous. You can jump on a plane, a bus, a car, a truck or a bike and come meet me.
Be prepared to wake up early, eat a snack, pack some water, grab your camera, have your good walking shoes on and plenty of small bills $$$.
Little do you know, that no matter what...there is NO need to be jealous because you ARE coming with me one way or another, even if it's through the magic of blog land! :)
Yep, you and I will be going to the 7-mile yard sale on Saturday and hopefully we'll pick up some great finds!!!! Sounds exciting doesn't it???
But for now, I need to tank up the Suburban, find my tennies, pack my survival kit, go to the bank, and set my alarm clock.
So while I'm busy doing that, perhaps you can make your list and let me know when you're ready! ;)

Oh Jodie that sounds like so much fun!!! I'm not that far from La.-if I didn't have to work I'd be bugging hubby to drive up there!! lol

Yes, that sounds like sooooo much fun!!!!
Though, I'm really looking forward to a weekend all by myself. :) Husband off to Canada to visit his daughters and Sarah with her Dad. I live for these weekends, ahhh. I have lots to accomplish in getting things ready for our Florida trip.

I want to go too:( Enjoy and I AM jealous!
After reading your post, I found myself trying to figure out how to finish writing a 100 page intel analysis for grad school on a plane to LA. Sadly enough, I can't figure out how to do it. Why didn't I just major in something artsy -- then I could use this amazing trip to the 7-miler as a class project...big sigh...
Hugs from GA...can't wait for you to get here...
Rosalyn-Sue
Wow, I would love to go. I wish they held something like that out here, but no such luck. I'd buy me an airo-plane ticket just to come out there and attend such a thing. lol It's a good thing I'd only need small bills for the sale as that's all I'd have left after buying that round trip ticket. Of course who says it has to be round tripand I have to come back once gone?
Jody
Oh - I wanna come :D
Can´t wait to see what great finds you get.
7 mile yard sale???
(faints)
;-)
Sounds like so much fun! Can't wait to see all that you find on your trek! We will get to see won't we?
big hugs,
Debra
Your Saturday sounds like so much fun. What wouldn't i give to take a plane and join you. I've got a thing for transferware so I bet I'd then have to pay surcharge on my luggage weight on the return flight LOL
rita
you lucky little stinker!!! i wish i could come with you Jodie!!!
Oh, I can't wait. I'll be up early and ready to go! (wish I could...sniff...sniff).
Oh, and per your request, Jodie, the first pics of the Alice event are up on my blog.
Have fun and can't wait to see your pics of the 7 mile sale!
Hugz from Your So Cal connection,

Hello Jodie,
A 7 mile yard sale? That's long and a lot of trinkets and treasures to discover. To take all in what your heart delights on! But I am sure it'll be one interesting day.
The mini frames and spoon with a single pink rose is real pretty :-)
Mizpah,
Li
Sending many good wishes your way for a most splendid and successful day. I am sure there will be many little wayward treasures out there calling out your name loud and clear. Look forward to all that you will share with us. The only thing I want is for a very special box to arrive. Many blessings, Tammy
Sending good vibes your way for an amazing time and bargains galore!!
I'll be with you in spirit..enjoy!!
Jodie,
I can't remember if I thanked you for visiting my new blogsite. I am getting addicted!
Your garage sale sounds wonderful. No garage sales here yet! I am so longing for them...I love a good rummage sale. We have great neighborhood ones in Minneapolis/St.Paul but no 7-milers! I LOVE that box of treats, Jodie. You can send it to me anytime...lol.
I read your post about Silver Bella...I sure hope you will go! There is a Why Women Creates here in MN but I will be in Croatia!
Hugs,
Suz
Oooo...I wanna come along! And not just virtually but really! It sounds like so much fun and then you'll find all those really cool things and then make really beautiful things with them-I wanna come! Of course, if I came along then we would be racing for the same things and then maybe have to argue over something or knock each other out of the way to get to the really good treasures. OK, maybe it's a better idea that I enjoy it virtually:).
Have fun-can't wait to see all of your loot!
Blessings,
Kim
Jodie I know I don't have to say it, but, say it I will...have a BLAST!!!
hugs
Hi Jodie,
I would so love to jump on a plane and come and join you sweet friend.
But you will have to have, all the fun and maybe you can let us see what you get.
Have a great weekend
Hugs
Carolyn
Sounds lovely! I wish I could tag along :)
Sue E.
ooh sounds like so much fun. Wish I could go but it is a bit far..... Have a wonderful time and cannot wait to see your posts. Angela
Hi Jodie! I am a friend of Lisa's (Tarnished & Tattered) & Joanna (Sweet Finds) & one of the lucky gals to be joining you for Petticoats. I saw your post (Lisa told me) about the quilt & LAUGHED! I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo stressing over getting these gifts done. I thought I knew what I was doing but, then have decided the shipping for that would cost way too much so it's back to the drawing board. The clock is ticking. Nice to meet you. Charlene
