Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Sharing some green with you today (but honestly, I don't know how the mannequin and that doll got in there!) and I'm hoping that you are getting your green on!
I wanted to wish Hope a very Happy Birthday today!!! I hope she gets lots of Birthday hugs instead of Birthday pinches!!!
:)

I just have to say this...
Thank you for all of your comments on my last post!!! ALL of you are so inspirational to me. You are the reason that I keep blogging and telling my stories. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't continue on sharing the "madness" here at everything vintage. You give me the encouragement I need and you love me for being ME! oh how I love that! :)
I'm honored to say that since starting this blog in June of 2008, I have created over 300 posts and I now have 300+ beautiful followers FRIENDS from all over the world!
You will never be just a number to me. It's not about the numbers or the giveaways. It's about the friendship that I hold that VERY dear to my heart! I know some of you may not even follow me but perhaps you do have me on your side bar or in Google Reader...Thank you too! I know you are out there because of your visits and comments...I so appreciate that!
And, I even love "the lurkers"!!!!
{because I was one too at one time}
They hold a special place in my heart as I have to share this comment with you as I was so touched when I read it. This is exactly how I felt when I first started reading blogs about 4 years ago...
Jodie,
This is the FIRST time I've ever left a comment on a blog, but I just had to! I love the idea you came up. What an incredible inspiration! I am a newbie to the "I can do it" art and blogging world. So thank you for the inspiration.
Blessings,
Sheri
This is what makes blogging so rewarding...the inspiration, the friendship, the encouragement...oh I could go on and on! So if you are reading this Sheri, THANK YOU! Your profile doesn't list a blog nor an email address but I wanted to let you know I appreciate your visit and comment!
I appreciate ALL of you!
This is a GREEN DAY indeed and thanks to the luck of the Irish, I have all of you! ok...I'm not Irish but...I'm just saying...THANK YOU!

It's so true, the comments, the friendsips, foreign bloggers we met, the people who also love to create or the people who just likes to watch the things we make and leave a message all of this makes me very happy too. Thank you for your sweet post.
Hugs Ester
The world of blogging is truly amazing...congratulations!
I know exactly what you're saying and I love you too sugar. Sweet little collage for a green day. Enloy! XXMollye
I could spend the whole day hopping from blog to blog! Isn't it ironical that what they said would isolate us (being on the computer all alone!) now brings us together!
I know what you mean for sure. You always take time for me and now I see how extraordinary that is because there are so many of us you tend to. One thousand thank yous dear one.
Jodie,
Well said! All of it, I agree 100%. Blogland is like my own Emerald City, I wish real life was like blogland. When I'm at Wal-mart & someone trys to run me over in the parking lot, or the check out girl is rude, etc...I think Oh my blog friends would never be like this. Does that make any sense at all, or did I drink one to many coffees today? I love the comment you shared, yes it makes me smile to think your post moved a 'lurker' to become a commenter! Love the collage, especially that crazy baby doll!! Insane! I'm having an anxiety attack because I think you'll be at Jennifers when I come to town on Good Friday! Tell me I'm wrong. Lisa
Doncha know baby girl...everybody's Irish on the 17th! I know for me it was the luck of the Irish (and Pam) that led me to your site. You never disappoint and it's a joy to come and share a visit with you. (See, I can play nicely from time to time!)
Lovely post!
Debbie
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
My sentiments exactly. Blogging is a wonderful thing and you got a TON of wonderful comments on your last post. My favorite was the one that said "You cut up MY quilt? Yep, that's the one I have on my bed ... " How funny.
Love you Girl!
Have a wonderful pinch-free day!corawfur
Happy St Patty's day to you friend!!! Drink some green beer for me tonight, K? Don't you wish we could teleport??? Really, it could be the answer to our prayers. I'll teleport to Jodie's to visit New Orleans & her favorite 5 & Dime, & she can teleport to CA to visit Hollywood & Paramount with me. Doesn't that sound fabulous!!! Now with my luck I'd be like a bad episode of Star Trek & only half of me will make it...let's just hope for all concerned it's the skinner part. LOL
Big Smiles & a St Patty's pinch..
Susie
I agree! Blogging has and does mean so much to me! It really changed my life after losing my job. I am not alone now and the friendships are amazing!
Well, I AM part Irish and part German... but not too lucky! But wait a minute, maybe I am because I was lucky enough to stumble on to your blog and get to know you through email a bit better :)
You share so much with us and we really do appreciate you!! Keep on doin' what you're a doin' girl!!
Have great GREEN day!!!

Happy St. Patty's day to you too! It took Gwen a while to convince me to try blogging. I hemmed and hawed and when I was there this past summer, she made me do it and told me to give it a month. Wow! I never knew it would be such a positive and rewarding experience. amazing friendships and how I really feel like we all know each other so well. I know names and faces and personal stories. It's just so wonderful! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed and saying a little prayer every day for the box. Wishing you a most wonderful day. :) Tammy
Hi sweet Jodie,
You have summed up, in much better words than I could, just how I feel about this world of blogging. It is definitely not about numbers, but all the good we can share with each other in our lives while we are here. I just get so much enjoyment from seeing how much beauty everyone creates with their lives. And you my dear...create A LOT. And I don't just mean your artwork!
hugs
Hi there Dear Jodie! I am so happy to have found you! You are such a dear and I enjoy every visit with you. Have a blessed day and it's gonna be a good one!

If it was not for this wonderful blogging world I would not have come across a talent such as yours and I am honored to know you.
All of your finds are absolute treasures and this is just the beginning of the season...can hardly wait to see what creative vision is going on in that brain of yours!! Happy St. Patty's Day Sweetie!! xOxO Nerina
