Recipe for Amazing...

It's truly amazing what I can do with a vintage earring (which has no mate), a pinch of paint, and 24 hours in my pajamas...

Add a fluff of crochet and a touch of velvet rosette...

~ Oh I could stop right here but I'm not finished~

Add a generous amount of aged vintage inspired paper...

Add a recycled chocolate box from holidays past...

~ now for the key ingredient ~

Add a whole lot of undisturbed time

and this is what comes out of my studio...

Now wasn't this a fabulous recipe?

Girl. 24 hours in your pj's? I would kill for that. What a fun day.
I had a creative day on Sunday - before I plopped my rear in a chair to watch the game. It was nice.
We NEED those types of days. We just need them!
I think I need to go antiquing . . . maybe tomorrow!

Love it and less calories than whatever you bake!
But I am going to bake for Valentine's day though. Using only natural ingredients, making small cakes and cookies mmmm!

That is just gorgeous! I would never be able to see that from the earring and other items. Just not creative like that. I love to see such beauty made from bits of this and that.

I have a pair of earrings, wouldn't wear for a million dollars, I got for my 21 birthday, making them over 50 years old. They are about 1" square and beautiful color. I need to make something lasting with these and you just gave me an idea. This is a beautiful creation.

Jodie! This little Valentine is just beautiful! Thanks for visiting my blog thru OWOH #656 and leaving a comment. Come back again soon, please!

I read your Jan. 22 blog and can SO RELATE to being out of the studio and not accomplishing anything! That really hit home with me! Good to know I am not the only one who has these "pauses" in time and creativity, but we always come back and create again! Isn't it wonderful!!?? I will be back again on a regular basis to your blog.
