So Charmed...

Speaking of charmed...I want to thank each and every one of you who left me such wonderful words of encouragement and sent up prayers for me and my Dad. Our days are looking brighter thanks to your sweet comments!!! Oh how I just love you!!!!

In the midst of all my chaos, the only place that I could hide to get my mind off of the day was in my studio. I've been plugging away at my swaps, one by one and I was quite productive indeed.

Above is a sneak peek of the wonderful pouch Sandy made for each of our bracelets. She hosted a charm bracelet swap where 11 of us had to make a charm for each other, add it to each charm bracelet and then send them on to the next person. Lucky me, I was number 10 out of 11 and was able to see them almost completed. I made the Paris charms above and sent them on to the last recipient earlier in the week.

Just beautiful I tell ya! I can't wait to get my bracelet back. This was a great group of girls to play with. Hopefully when I receive my bracelet back for good, I will post about it again with detailed links to each participant. They are oh so talented, it was an honor to swap with them!

My whole dining room table was so "charming", I really hated to box it all up and send it off...

It was hard but I managed :)

Many thanks goes to Sandy for hosting the 1st Annual Jewelry Collaborative Charm Swap and thanks to all of the wonderful artists who participated!!!

Doncha just love the sound of jingling charms on a bracelet? I know people can hear me coming 15 minutes before I actually get there...kinda like a cow and her bell...Here's come Trash and her one arm band of renown!
Love all the charms, but I really love yours. You are so clever. The pouches are 2die4!
Good to hear a little smile in your writing. Really good to hear things with Dad are going well.

What an exciting venture. The bracelet awesome. The charms too cute. That is one of the projects I want to learn soon is soldering jewelry.

I truly hope your father is OK. I know how hard it is. My Dad was sick for some time too. He passed away a little over 4 years ago and I still miss him.

Jodie, these are so pretty. I am such a bracelet freak, so I am really loving these. Your charms are so very chic, and I may be partial, but I bet they make the bracelet. Oh no, I really didn't type that out loud, did I?

Hi Jodie,
What a fun swap! Good choice for your charm - I always love a French theme. Glad things with your dad are going better. I know it's really hard when our parents get old and need our help. Well, Miss Gracie is ready for bed now, so I must accommodate the little darling.
Have a great week,
Sharon :-)

OK, I am just biting at the bit to learn how to do charms like those. If I may ask, where did you learn how to do this. I don't know where to begin looking for classes.

GIRL!!!! I HAVE INTERNET!!!! First time in two weeks!!! WHOO HOOOO!!!!!!
Golly how I have missed following what everyone is doing! And not being able to post what we have been doing is killing me! It seems kind of . . . I dunno, silly to post it all now. Maybe in future posts?
Anyway - I am FINALLY In Pagosa Springs, Colorado, 4 days late, but hey! My husband leaves tomorrow to fly home, and will drive back out with the boys on Sat. So we shall have our family vacation after all!! YAY!
ANYWAY!!!!!! I GOT A DRESS FORM!!!! I was so excited, I found it yesterday - I'm surprised you didn't hear me scream at your place!!!! I have found so many wonderful pieces, mostly in Colorado Springs, and will share them all soon!!!! I'm thinking of posts while lying in bed in night! Geez! What a sick Woman!!!
Anyhow, I'm alive and well! And have so much to catch up on
BIG HUGS! Karen

12 charms from twelve talented ladies and friends. I can see the excitement! I love how everyone is totally different from the other and that each charm is a piece of work from different people.

Different artists, different charms - and yet when combined, became a beautiful charm bracelet.

If only people do the same. No matter what the differences, when we both work together - it's a harmonious thing. :-)

Glad to hear you and your father are doing well Jodie! See? Everything has started to be well again.
