A pleasant Sunday...

Felt like being creative yesterday...what  a great Mother's Day it was for me. A day all to myself.

I made a few of these bookmarks with my vintage velvet ribbon and re-purposed jewelry findings...

OMG Jodie, these are so beautiful! I LOVE all that re-purposed jewelry. However, I thought we had an agreement about that velvet ribbon? I was going to help you get over that addiction problem, remember? Oh well, as long as you keep creating all these treasures I really don't see the need of me interfering.
I'm so glad you had the whole day to create. You did gooood!
Hugs,
June

What a lovely way to spend Mother's Day...doing what you want to! Those are just beautiful and so much better than folding the page down(don't you just hate when people do that?).

Gorgeous! There is something to be said for a bit of alone time.
Loved the poetry, Receipts and I were cracking up.

If laughter cures your ills
Then Ms. Le Jeune's got skills.
If you need to mark your place
with ribbon she's an ace!
She buys old jewelry at the Thrift
With junk she has a gift.
But funeral cards are her passion
So many she has been stashin'.
She shops for old papers and books
For these she unceasingly looks.
Since Sandy came to call
More goods were bought, what a haul!
Now buttons and bows are her joy
We all can use a new toy!
So glad I call Jodie my friend
We can shop junk and create til the end!

Not quite up to your literary standards but I just had to give it a shot! Hugs, Pam
