I remember paper, a pair of scissors and glue was all you needed.
I remember when a handmade card was a special gift.
I remember when there was nothing "wrong" with scrapbooking...
And I loved it! Still do today and I'm sure that I always will.
With all of the "art collage" and "mixed media" and other names given to paper and altered creations, I believe it all started from the principals that scrapbooking was made of...long long ago.
Creating. Preserving. Exhibition. Memories. It's all in the details.
Just add pictures...
I'll always be a day dream believer, but I was never a homecoming queen.

Beautiful work Jodie. Who wants to be homecoming queen anyway? I would rather daydream about having all the time in the world to create. Speaking of which. I emailed Sandy with a thought about getting together sometime this year. I'll send some ideas to you and Geralyn and the other Sandy too. Pam

I am with you on that last statement! I was definately a day dream believer but never a homecoming queen! (Now I have that blasted song stuck in my head:) I love scrapbooking-it's a fun way to be creative:)
Love your post. Just wanted to say I love your scrapbook. Once I get myself organized, I'm going to start scrapbooking again... I'm trying to create a little space to work so everytime I do something I don't trash the whole house...
But anyway, I really like the colors you used on your scrapbook. Just looks so pretty...

oooooh...I had it all set what to write, so it wouldn't be a looooooooooooong paragraph.........I got distracted reading Pams comment.........is something fun in our future?????????? I am on my way to a St. Patty's parade in temps of a high of 50 degrees.......brrrrrrrrr..I'm taking my mom so we'll probably stay in the car. I guess you read my comment to Pam.......hey whats a reputation anyway???????? I have a lot to say....hee hee.
Oh my goodness, these pages are beautiful! Sorry to disappear on you, but we just returned from spring break---a little trip to Florida...Are you planning on Silver Bella again this year? If so we have to make plans to get hooked up early on, okay?
